Jeffrey, lovingly known as Jeff, was born in Brooklyn, New York. As a young child, Jeffrey’s family relocated to Long Island where he received his primary and secondary education and excelled in sports. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. In later years, Jeffrey obtained a degree (ARM) and several certificates in Insurance and Risk Management. He was also licensed as an Insurance Broker in the states of Massachusetts and New York.

For over three decades, Jeffrey was an accomplished insurance executive experienced in leading strategic initiatives that enhanced operations for large insurance companies; such as Liberty Mutual, Frankel Insurance, Willis of NY, and Chubb and NFP Insurance companies. Jeffrey was also a 911 survivor, Tower 2, 36th floor. As floor captain, he heroically led his team out of the building to safety.

Jeffrey was actively involved with a number of organizations, serving on the Board of Trustees for Trumbull Loves Children Inc. and the National African American Insurance Association of Boston (NAAIA). He was also a loyal supporter of the non-profit I Found Light Against All Odds, 100 Black Men of America, Inc, and the Alumni Association of Lincoln University.

He was also a loving and dedicated husband to his wife Morela of 37 years,
an exceptional father to his daughter Ciara, and an adoring Gampa to his grandpup Bruno. In addition, he was a wonderful and caring son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
